Snap pack mailers
A snap pack is a variant of the pressure seal mailer. Instead of cohesive adhesive strips that bond to themselves, a snap pack is edge-glued with perforated tear strips. The recipient snaps the edges to open the mailer in one motion.
When to choose snap packs
Snap pack vs. standard pressure seal
Snap packs and pressure seal mailers share the same production philosophy: print, fold, seal, mail. The difference is how the recipient opens the piece. Snap packs give a satisfying, tactile break. Standard pressure seal mailers peel open along a perforation.
Print buyers choose snap packs when the document must feel substantial or when the opening experience matters. Checks, rebates, gift cards, and legal notices are common snap pack use cases.
